Dr. Glowacki specializes in classical and near eastern art and archaeology. His current research investigates domestic architecture and household activities in the prehistoric Aegean, especially on the island of Crete. He is also interested in ancient urbanism, the archaeology of religion, and ancient Greek sculpture. He is the recipient of the 2001 Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching from the Archaeological Institute of America.
